Bylaws & How it Works
AMERICAN RANCHER ALLIANCE, INC.
Rebuilding America’s Beef Supply – Producer Owned. American Controlled.
The American Rancher Alliance is a Wyoming-based, producer-owned nonprofit created to return power back to U.S. ranchers and restore transparency to the American beef supply. Our mission is simple: connect ranchers, processors, retailers, and consumers through a fully transparent supply chain that cannot be controlled by corporations, foreign packers, or political influencers.
We believe American families deserve real, honest beef — and American ranchers deserve fair pricing, national access, and the freedom to sell directly into grocery stores.
What We Do
We are building a national network of producers, processors, and retailers to make American beef truly American again. The Alliance exists to:
-
Break processing bottlenecks
-
Return fair pricing to ranchers
-
Lower beef prices for American families
-
Build a decentralized, producer-owned supply chain
-
Protect transparency from ranch to grocery store
-
Ensure every retail package is traceable back to the ranch
-
Restore food security and American control over our own beef supply
The Alliance was created by ranchers, for ranchers — with bylaws that permanently protect the mission from outside takeover.
Membership
Membership is open to U.S. beef producers including cow-calf operators, backgrounders, stockers, finishers, seedstock producers, and farm-to-table operations.
Year 1 Membership: FREE
Year 2 & Beyond: $250/yr
Membership dues go directly toward:
-
Packaging & labeling infrastructure
-
QR traceability
-
Producer support
-
Compliance systems
-
Transparency technology
No corporate members. No packer influence. Members must be U.S. ranchers.
Health & Transparency Standards
To protect consumer trust and producer integrity, all cattle entering ARA retail programs must meet these requirements:
🚫 No mRNA vaccines — strict prohibition
Animals receiving mRNA-based vaccines cannot enter ARA grocery-store or private-label programs.
🚫 No antibiotic-treated cattle in ARA retail programs
Producers may still treat sick animals, but those animals are excluded from retail beef programs.
✅ Full transparency on everything else
Producers must disclose:
-
Standard vaccines (non-mRNA)
-
Dewormers
-
Vitamins/minerals
-
Feed program
-
Herd-health practices
Consumers will see this through the ARA QR transparency system on every package.
How Producers Get Paid
The Alliance uses a transparent, producer-first model:
1. Producers Keep Their Own Carcass Price
Each producer negotiates their own carcass price based on breed, program type, and retailer needs.
No blending. No averaging. No subsidy between ranchers.
2. ARA Rebates: 80% of Net Retail Margin
After carcass payments and costs, the net retail margin is split:
• 80% → back to producers (rebates)
• 20% → Alliance reserve & expansion fund
Your rebate is based on how many pounds you deliver into the system.
3. $50 Per-Carcass Fee
Each carcass entering retail pays a flat $50 fee to cover:
-
Packaging
-
Labeling
-
QR codes
-
Compliance
-
Traceability
This keeps the system fair and uniform for all producers.
Where the Money Goes (80/20 Model)
After processor costs, packaging, QR, freight, labeling, logistics, admin, and fees are covered, ARA calculates the Net Retail Margin.
Then:
➡️ 80% goes back to ranchers
➡️ 20% is saved by the Alliance
The 20% reserve fund is used for:
-
Expanding processor capacity
-
Grocery-store contracts
-
Logistics and cold storage
-
National marketing
-
Transparency & tech systems
-
Legal and regulatory work
This 80/20 model is locked into the bylaws and cannot be changed without Founder approval.
Why the Alliance Cannot Be Taken Over
The Alliance was engineered to protect ranchers permanently:
-
Producer-owned and producer-controlled
-
No corporate board seats allowed
-
No foreign-owned influence
-
Founder veto protects mission, pricing, and transparency
-
Bylaws prohibit takeover, dilution, or corporate capture
-
The organization can never be sold
The Alliance exists to serve ranchers — not to replace them.
How the ARA Supply Chain Works
Rancher → ARA-Approved Processor → Grocery Store / Retailer → Consumer
Every retail package includes:
-
ARA label
-
QR code
-
Full ranch info
-
Feed program
-
Health protocol transparency
Consumers can scan the code and know exactly where their beef came from — and producers can gain new customers directly.
